Feeding Your White German Shepherd Puppy
We feed all of our white German shepherd dogs Black Gold 26/18 Perfomance Blend (26 percent protein, 18 percent fat) . This high protein dog food has all vitamins and everything they need in it. The pups will be on a diet of this same dog food with whole milk on top of it, like cereal.
We feed the pups three times a day. Feed the amount they will clean up in about a half hour. We feed our adult dogs once per day in the morning, after excercise. You can feed your dog twice per day, the main thing is to be consistant .
The next time you need to purchase dog bowls, get stainless steel. It's just the way to go. They will last a lifetime and you can easily clean them with a steel wool pad. The three quart size seems to work the best.
Give your puppy fresh clean water every day. Throw the old water out and splash it clean, then fill it up. On hot days give your dog fresh cold water at least twice a day. Don't let them run out of water.
